A

Retractable – under the fuselage, parallel with the fuselage
(should be selected off before retracting to avoid visual confusion in cloud)
Fixed – in the wing root leading edge, shine down at a fixed angle

A

4 normal doors with slides
4 emergency o’wing exits without slides
Flap 40 before evacuation to allow descent from wing. If possible open aft
o’wing exits first to avoid hitting evacuees from the fwd o’wing exits

-Climb - 280 KIAS /0.76m whichever lower
-Cruise – use FMC recommended N1

Where can you find the MTOM / MLM / MZFW for a given A in the fleet

A

DS (Dynamic Source) 738 App 737-800 = non winglet
737-800W = wingleted*
737-800(W.1) = winglet and SFP (short field performance)
*(there is 4th ‘type’ of 800, originally manufactured without winglets, but with after market winglets added. These are also listed as Ws but have an additional 50% marker on the speed brake gauge for speed brake load
alleviation)
