Q

What are ADs and types of ADs?
Do we have any ADs at IAA?

A

Airworthiness directives are like recalls for a car, but they are mandatory.
There are two types, reoccurring and one time.
On the 172M model, we have two recurring ADs. One for the ignition, one for the seat track.

Q

Can you overfly the 100 hour inspection?

A

You can overfly by 10 hours as long as you’re overflying to head to a destination where an inspection can occur. We can not because of our ADs tied to the 100 hour.
