SIGNS SEAT BELTS?
SEAT BELTS
ON—Illuminates FASTEN SEAT BELT signs (in cabin), RETURN TO SEATS signs (in lavatories) and sounds low-tone chime.
OFF—Extinguishes signs. Low chime sounds.
SIGNS NO SMOKING?
- ON—Turns NO SMOKING and EXIT signs on. Low-tone chime sounds. EMER LT battery charging inhibited.
- AUTO—The NO SMOKING signs stay lit. The EXIT signs illuminate when the landing gear is extended and extinguish when the gear is retracted. A lowtone chime sounds.
- OFF—Turns signs off. Low-tone chime sounds.
EMER EXIT LT?
- Extinguished during normal operation.
* OFF—Illuminates amber when the EMER EXIT LT selector is selected OFF.
EMER EXIT LT selector?
- ON—Overhead emergency lights, EXIT signs, and floor escape marking illuminated.
- ARM—The exit signs, overhead emergency lighting, and proximity emergency escape path marking system illuminate with loss of normal electrical power. Excessive cabin altitude illuminates exit signs.
- OFF—Signs listed above are extinguished.
CABIN PRESS LDG ELEV sel?
- AUTO—FMGS Data constructs schedule
* OTHER Pos—FMGS uses landing elev. selected by this control.
CABIN PRESS MODE SEL pb?
- AUTO—Automatic system control, controllers alternate. Check ECAM SD page for controller.
- MAN—ARMs V/S control, (press-10sec press again and switches system
- FAULT—BOTH automatic systems fault
CABIN PRESS MAN V/S Toggle?
• UP—Moves valve towards ope
• DOWN—Moves Valve Towards Close
(Each click moved cabin alt 50 ft)
DITCHING pb (GUARDED)?
• ON—Systems sends close signal to Cargo isolation valve, Ram Air Inlet, Avionics Vent & Inlet, Pack Flow Control Valves, Outflow Valve.
Probe/Window Heat?
- AUTO—Probes/Windows Heated inflight or on ground with one engine running except (TAT until airborne)
- ON—Probes/Windows Heated except (TAT until airborne)
ANTI ICE ENG 1(2)?
- ON—ON Light Blue & ECAM MEMO.
- OFF—OFF
- FAULT—Valve Disagree with pb Selection (Fails OPEN)
ANTI ICE WING?
• ON—ON Light Blue & ECAM MEMO • (If on ground self test for 30s) • OFF—OFF • FAULT—Valve Disagree with pb selection or Low Pressure Detected. (FAILS CLOSED)
AIR COND PACK 1(2)?
• FAULT Light P— Pack Outlet Overheat C— Compressor Outlet Overheat S— Switch Position Disagreement • ON—Opens except in the following cases F—Fire Push Button U—Upstream Pressure Below Min C—Compressor Outlet Overheat E—Engine Starting Sequence D—Ditching Pressed • If crossbleed open at engine start both close
ENG 1(2) BLEED?
• ON—Bleed Valve Opens ✴ Upstream PSI >8 ✴ APU OFF, or Bleed closed ✴ No Leak, no overpressure, no over temp ✴ Eng Fire PB not pressed ✴ Start valve is closed FAULT— • A—APU Bleed On and not closed • S—Start Valve Open (Engine) and not closed • O—Overpressure Downstream • L—Bleed Leak • O—Overheat
CROSSBLEED?
- AUTO—Open if APU bleed open, closed if APU closed or leak except during start
- OPEN—OPEN
