  • Defects in neutrophil function
  • Root abnormalities
  • Hyper-responsive macrophage (body damages self)

  • Pubertal onset

- Localised pattern of attachment loss = 6s and incisors affected

A
  • If suspected -> REFER
  • AB may be helpful
  • Daily CHX mw: 2 weeks
  • OHI: at 4 weeks
  • HPT: at 8 weeks
  • Review w consultant: at 12 weeks
