How is the old man represented to be lonely?
A long shot of the old man on the moon highlighting he’s alone. Then it cuts to a medium close of the man looking sad shown through his facial expressions. The use of these to shots represents old people as sad and lonely. The effect placing the old man on the moon enforcing this idea of sadness. This is constructed the through the colour of the moon being a dark grey this connotes the dies dull and sad atmosphere much like how the old man is feeling inside.

Establishing shot showing off the moon with old mans on the bench showing the earth in the distance. The camera pans up and away from the earth highlight the distance from Earth. The effects reflects how he’s is away and alone from everyone on earth.
How old people represented in Red 2?
Long shot of old people stood in a group creating sense of teamwork. Focusing on the props the characters are holding guns which is represents old people being violent. This is an atypical representation toon of old people but this representations still is needed to meets genre expectations of an action. In this same shot , all characters appear to have a strong stance looking directly at the camera connoting the idea of power and strength
How is colour used?
The Colour used throughout the cover is red which obviously in relation to the film title but also symbolises a sense of danger making the characters seem more menacing.Also highlighting the costume of one of the male characters wearing long smart coat accompanied with a women wearing silky fur coat. The effect of the choice costume creates a sense of class and sophistication
How is the mode address used ?
“Better than Before” this suggests the older you get the greater you become. This is a direct contrast to the stereotype of old people being weak instead creates an atypical representation that age make you stronger.
