A
- Fire alarm activation
- Report of smoke and/or fire
- Determination of a working fire and/or sprinkler activation

Dispatch for Alarm Activation
A
- Engine company/first arriving unit assumes initial command
- Ladder company: lobby control, analyze systems, help with equipment
- B.C. assumes command, engine company investigates, begins attack, clears stairwells, determines alarm floor.

Dispatch for Smoke & Fire
A
- 4 engines, 3 ladders, 3 rescues, 2 squads (Squads 1 or 3 and Squad 2), Unit 78, 3 Battalion Commanders
- 1st BC establishes command in lobby, 2nd is fire attack branch, 3rd support IC in lobby

Systems Branch
A
- Stairwell designations (ideally attack/ventilation/evacuation separately)
- Control of building systems: immediately recall elevators
- Status of building systems must be id’d

Accountability Branch
A
-All units assigned to interior of structure will check in with accountability branch director BEFORE proceeding to their tactical assignment.

Fire Floor Divisions
A
- 2 Engines, 1 Rescue
- 3 officers, rescue, 2 drivers, 4 firefighters
- 2 engine drivers establish water supply

Fire Floor
A
- Engine officer + 3 firefighters advance 2 1/2” attack line.
- Other engine officer and firefighters are IRIT in stairwell.
- Officer controls line flow pressure.
- Rescue personnel conduct primary search of fire floor.
