AFD Vehicle Fires

  • Full PPE/SCBA
  • Min 1 3/4” handline
  • Fire in passenger compartment=write off
  • Patients in vehicle=water first to protect/permit rescue
  • When no rescue, apply water for several seconds to extinguish fire
  • At least one member of attack team should have forcible entry tools
