- Take Command!
- Do Primary Search
- First line: fast, aggressive, interior attack
- Provide support activities (e.g. ventilation)
- Second line-back up first/provide a way out of structure
- Secure water supply

- Fire in passenger compartment=write off
- Patients in vehicle=water first to protect/permit rescue
- When no rescue, apply water for several seconds to extinguish fire
- At least one member of attack team should have forcible entry tools
