Offer native language orientation for families about the US school system
Create classes for parents in ESL, literacy, citizenship, parent education, etc.
Create family learning projects

Parents read to children and make books to share with their children
Invite parents to be speakers to share (possible topics: geography, language, music, system of government, transportation, etc. from their cultural experiences)
Embrace parents as decision-makers for their child’s education
