What is “muy”?
an adverb used to express quantity. Think of it as “too (hot)” or “too (big)” rather than “very”
What does “muy” do?
It modifies either an adjective or another adverb
where is “muy” placed?
MUY + adjective, adverb ie in front of the adjective or adverb
Los pantalones que lleva Mario son muy grandes.
The pants Mario is wearing are too big.
Se enfada muy fácilmente.
He gets angry very easily.
Hemos llegado muy pronto a la fiesta.
We’ve arrived at the party too soon.
¡Cuidado! El café está muy caliente.
Watch out! The coffee is very hot.

- after the verb ie verb + MUCHO

Hace mucho (tiempo) que llevo esperándote.
I have been waiting for you for a long time.
Vamos mucho a jugar a tenis.

No. It just acts by itself
