A

Typical adverbs: express where or when an event is taking place.

A

interrogative adverbs: question words like where, when and how- double function: can introduce a dependent question/act as a subordinator

What are the functions of other adverbs?

A

Some adverbs express degree-very and can modify adjectives or adverbs
Sentence/conjunctive adverbs- have meanings similar to coordinate conjuctions and express the logical relationship between main clauses/sentences.
Relative adverb-modifies a clause
