Adult cardiac arrest circular algorithm Flashcards
how hard should you push for compressions
at least 2 inch
how fast should you compress
100 to 120 bpm
its important to remember with compression to allow
complete chest recoil
minimize
interuptions
avoid excessive
ventilation
rotate compressor every … mins or … if fatigued
2 mins or sooner
if no advance airway what is ratio
30 to 2
if capno is less that 10 it means
improve cpr quality
if diastolic is less than 20 it means to
imporve cpr
initial shock should be
120- 200 jewls
epi iv / io dose
.5 mg every 5 mins ( max of 2 mg)
Amiodarone dose first and second
300 and then 150
advanced airway choices
endotracheal or super glotic
to confirm and monitor tube placement use
waveform capnograpy
once advanced airway is in place ventilation rate changes to
1 breath every 6 seconds continuous with continuous chest compression
