•  Sex steroids …..Testosterone, Estrone

➢ Both mineralocorticoids and glucocorticoids are synthesized from cholesterol
• Synthesized and stored in minute quantities
➢ Normal rate of secretion of two principle corticoids:
• Hydrocortisone: 10 mg daily (more than ½ in the morning)
• Aldosterone: 0.125 mg daily
