A

Increased fungal cellular membrane permeability

growth inhibition (ergosterol synthesis)

inhibition of 5 lipooxygenase

suppression of T lymphocyte proliferation

reduces testosterone/cortisol synthesis; caution in liver disease
Must reduce dose of cyclosporine - interferes with metabolism

ADVERSE EFFECTS:

teratogenic, GI, hepatotoxic, thrombocytopenia
