Administration and Interpretation Flashcards
1
Q
What is the software for digital administration of WISC-V
A
Q interactive
2
Q
what are the two types of adjusted scores:
A
Standard scores and scaled scores
3
Q
What are the three components of interpretations (hint has to do with age)
A
- Percentile rank – the percentage that we would know where the examinee ‘s obtained score falls in comparison to their same age group, whether it is equivalent or lower, if a child is on the 75th percentile, that means he scored equal or higher than 75% of his age group
- Am age equivalent – is the age of individuals who on average obtain similar raw score to the examinee’s
- Composite scores are always accompanied with confidence interval.
- Confidence interval is based on scale’s reliability
- CI expresses the true score the examinee would have obtained if there was no error in the test (it falls under a range of the actual store they obtained)

6
Q
What does CI or confidence interval express ? what is CI based on
A
- CI expresses the true score the examinee would have obtained if there was no error in the test (it falls under a range of the actual store they obtained)
based on the reliability of the scale
7
Q
FSIQ is considered the most ___________ measure than the subtests
A
reliable
8
Q
what can FSIQ predict?
A
- School achievement
- Work performance
9
Q
what can be don if the overall performance indicator (MIS) is not available because we only chose to run FSIQ subtests
A
you can derive the mean from FSIQ, if you chose to not assess all 5 cognitive domains, or there were invalid subtests,
