What is the ADFA daily Schedule
- 0600: Reveille (Military waking time) attend roll call at 0605
- 0605-0800: Officer cadets and midshipmen attend breakfast and take part in scheduled activities such as parades, cleaning duties, flag raising duties and other military activities
- 0800-1700: Academic time, which is divided into nine 50-minute periods. Class time will depend on the degree studied. Non-class periods spent studying, working on assignments, meeting at mess or working out
- 1700-2200: Dinner, private studies, extra curricular activities and free on campus time
What are some of the extra curricular activities offered at ADFA
- Sporting teams and Voluntary Extra Curricular Club (VECC) groups train and meet from 1700 at one of the many sporting fields, the indoor sports centre or the Academy Cadets Mess
- Sporting teams such as soccer clubs
What do Officer Cadets do on the weekend
On weekends, officer cadets and midshipmen pursue their own activities unless they are involved in sporting commitments or scheduled military training activities
What is schedule during YOFT
- 0600: Reveille (military waking time)
- 0600-0630: Roll call and ablutions (showering shaving etc)
- 0630-0710: Physical training
- 0710-0800: Breakfast
- 0810-2130: Military training, which is divided into 40 minute periods

What does the 6 hours per week of Military training consist of while at ADFA
- Academy Military Education and Training (AMET) for all three Services
- as well as Single Service Training (SST)
When are Single Service Training (SST) held
SST blocks are held at the beginning and end of the year
What does Academic Military Education Training (AMET) involve
- Defence strategies
- Psychology and leadership
- Drug and alcohol awareness

What does COMSURV involve
- 3 week course
- Completed during break in 3rd year of study at ADFA
- Teaches survival techniques in marine, desert and jungle environments as well as escape and evasion techniques
