Muscle on the floor of the femoral triangle (inguinal ligament/ Sartorius/

Proximal Attch: anterior pubic bone

Distal Attch: inferior to lesser trochanter (posteromedial femur)

Action: hip adduction
hip flexion

Fiber direction: infero lateral

Palpation/ Activate: 
Partner on back
Locate femoral triangle
bolster knee

Only hip adductor to cross the knee.

Proximal Attch: anterior pubic bone

Distal Attch: proximal anteromedial tibia (pes anserinus tendon)

Action: hip adduction
knee flexion
knee medial rotation

Fiber direction: vertical
