Q

TIG welding

A

Tungsten inert gas
Used to weld metals like stainless steel as well as non-ferrous alloys
Similar to MIG except that tungsten doesn’t melt in the process, instead it uses a separate filler rod
TIG allows for great control and is more accurate and stronger but requires higher skill levels

A

This is used to weld low carbon steel sheet, tube or plate
Is useful for quick repair jobs or where their is no electricity
