What is Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)?
A
- Term used to cover a number of cardiac conditions: Unstable angina, acute myocardial infarction

Signs and symptoms of ACS?
A
- Chest pain; heavy with nil relief
- SOB
- Nausea and vomiting
- Radiation to jaw and L arm
- Everybody presents differently with ACS, can be atypical symptoms

ACS Treatment?
A
- 12 lead to identify if cause is cardiac
- Aspirin
- GTN
- Pain relief
- Oxygen (if indicated)
- Rapid transport if STEMI confirmed, consult specialists via phone
