✓ Jing-Well point is situated in the place where the channel qi starts to bubble
✓ Ying-Spring point is where the meridian qi starts to gush

✓ Jing-River point is where the meridian qi is pouring abundantly
✓ He-Sea point signifies the confluence of rivers into the sea, where the meridian qi meets in viscera.
Yuan-source points
Yuan” means origin.
* Yuan-source point is the site where the primary qi of the viscera flows by and retains.
* They are clinically used to diagnose & treat the disorder of related viscera.
Luo-connecting points
“Luo” means connecting.
* Refer to the points where the 15 collaterals stem from the 12 meridians, Du and Ren Meridians as well as the major collateral of the spleen.
- Used to treat the disorders of the regions that the meridians and collaterals run through as well as the disorders to the meridians in exterior-interior relation.
Back-shu points (Zang Fu qi is infused on the back)
- Diagnose & treat the disorder of related viscera, tissues and organs.
Front-mu point (Zang fu qi is infused & converged on the chest & obdomen)
- Locate on the chest & abdomen—where qi of the viscera infused & converged
- Diagnose & treat the disorder of related viscera, especially the disorders of six
Lower he-sea points
- Six points of the three yang meridians of hand and foot—Where the downward flowing qi of six fu- organs communicate with the three yang meridians of foot.
“Lower He-sea points can be used for diseases of six fu-organs”.
Xi-cleft points
- Xi-Cleft point is the site where the Qi of the meridian is deeply converged.
–Yin Meridian: disorders of Blood
–Yang Meridian: acute disorders and pain
Front-mu point (Zang fu qi is infused & converged on the chest & obdomen)
- Diagnose & treat the disorder of related viscera, especially the disorders of six fu-organs.
Back-shu points (Zang Fu qi is infused on the back)
- Diagnose & treat the disorder of related viscera, tissues and organs
Lower he-sea points
- Locate on the trunk & four limbs below the knees & elbows –the sites where the essence of qi, blood, tendons, vessels, bones, marrow, zang and fu-organs converges.
- Apart from treating diseases of the meridian, they are frequently used to treat diseases of corresponding tissues & organs
Eight confluent points
- Treat disorders of face, head & trunk related to 8 extra meridians and 12 regular meridians.
- Refer to the 8 points on the 12 regular meridians that are connected with 8 extra meridians.
