Q

How does it benefit your skin?

A
  • Rich in Antioxidants (phycocyanin, allophycocyanin scavenges free radicals, reducing oxidative damage)
  • Spirulina extract contains a mixture of proteins, flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids (promotes collagen 1) and carotenoids that work together to speed up wound healing and tissue regeneration
  • natural defense mechanisms against UV damage, produce mycosporin-like amino acids (absorb UV rays similar to the way chemical ingredients in sunscreen work), promotes skin barrier repair (stratum corneum hydration)
