He doesn’t act straight away he needs more proof - rational thinker.
Hamlet also doesn’t care if he lives or dies so isn’t hesitant to speak to ghost.
First insight to hamlets madness
Horacio says that’s the ghosts problematic nature may “draw him into madness”
