- Triturate talc with citric acid.
- Gradually add 400ml of purified water.
- Filter returning the first portions of the filtrate until it become clear.
- Wash the mortar and filter with sufficient purified water to make the filtrate
measure 450ml. - Dissolve the sucrose in this filtrate by agitation without heating.
- Add purified water to make 1000ml
