What are molecules, atoms and elements?

A

Molecules: A group of atoms bonded together
Atoms: the smallest particle of a chemical element that can exist
Elements: Defined a substance that is made completely from one type of atom.
E.g. The hydrogen element is made from atoms that contain a single electron and a single proton.

Describe how you made an cabbage indicator.

A

Cut the cabbage into pieces so it fits into the beaker, and add minimum amount of water needed. Heat the cabbage until it’s at it’s boiling point under the blue light of the bunsen burner and it will turn into hot liquid. Leave it to cool for about 10 minutes and then filtre the liquid from the cabbage through a filtre paper.
