Alkali on the pH scale
The pH of an alkali is more than 7. The higher the pH, the stronger the alkali. The colour on an alkali on the pH scale is blue/purple
Neutral solutions on the pH scale
Some solutions are not acidic or alkakine. They are neutral. Their pH is 7. The colour of a neutral solution is green on the pH scale

Universal indicator turns solutions different colours. The colour depends on the pH.
