Q

What is the method for following a neutralisation reaction by monitoring the pH?

A
  1. Add 15cm cubed of ammonia to a conical flask and place flask onto white tile
  2. Add 8 drops of universal indicator to the ammonia
  3. Record starting pH
  4. Add 2cm cubed of ethanoic acid using teat Pipette, stir it and record the pH
  5. Repeat step 4 until you reach a pH of 10 or more
  6. Record all results in a table
  7. Draw a graph of your results
