A

simmond’s triad
- lie prone, feet over edge of bed
- look for abnormal angle of declination
- achilles tendon rupture leads to greater dorsiflexion
- feel for gap in tendon + gently squeeze calf muscle- if acute rupture, injured foot will stay in neutral position
