What are the passport rules?
- Passports will reflect only those personnel presently in the hot zone.
• Passports will be delivered to the assigned accountability location prior to entering the hot zone.
• Passports will be maintained at the point of entry to the hot zone.
• Passports never enter the hot zone.
• Passports will be retrieved upon exiting the hot zone.
• Passport accountability location is the engine where the crew deployed hoseline.

What is the Accountability Responsibilities of company officer/Task Level?
- Must know where each firefighter is located and what they are doing?
- Maintain Current passport on apparatus at all times
- Maintain current MCT roster of personnel responding on apparatus. Includes roster alignment with the members assigned radio
- Must obtain a PARs for their crew and have adequate exit air supply
- Must keep crew intact
- Passport is delivered to their accountability location prior to entering the hot zone and retrieved upon exiting the hot zone
What are All members accountability responsibilities?
- Must update the company passport as they arrive for duty
- Ensure helmet ID’s are accurate
- Ensure SCBA identification marking are in place
- all crews are working within the incident command system, no free lancing
- crew remain intact, minimum crew size will be considered two or more members
- each member must have a radio
- all crews entering the hot zone will have a supervisor
- All crews go in together, stay together and come out together
- reduce visibility and increased risk will require close supervision by the company officer
- entire crew will exit if a SCBA, radio, or any equipment is compromise safety fails while in hot zone

- Passport with a pouch
