The term academic dishonesty or cheating includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Obtaining answers to the test questions through unauthorized materials, information or from another participant
- Possessing unauthorized materials or electronic devices during the exam
- Knowingly helping others to commit the act by letting them view your answers/notes during the exam
- Giving others answers during the exam or leaving the room and giving answers to others that may do it later
- Improperly obtaining a test before an exam through bribery, theft of collusion
- Failling to abide by the instructions of the proctors like failing to stop or start when told, failing to take the seat assigned or sharing material

Failing to arrive on time for scheduled tests/examinations/segments are typically not considered a violation however, be aware ?
- NOT considered a violation but you will not be allotted?
- that doing so will be to their detriment as more time will not be allotted

**The Instructors, Invigilators or the Promotional/Examination Committee, when observing or discovering an act of academic dishonesty or cheating,
‘WILL **DEPENDING on the severity of the incident?**
- Inform the participant of what ?
- Advise them to ?
- Confiscate what ?
- Remove the participant from what ?
• Inform the participant(s) of their observations, and may also include
- **Advising the participant(s) to cease and desist the behaviour; or
- The confiscation of the test/examination immediately, along with any incriminating evidence; or
- The removal of the participant(s) involved from the examination area

**The Instructors, Invigilators or the Promotional/Examination Committee, when observing or discovering an act of academic dishonesty or cheating, WILL **depending on the severity of the incident?**

- Who will they inform of the cheating (two people)?
- How will they inform the individuals
- The Fire Chief or Delegate
- The President of the Association
**They will be informed in writing about the details/situation**

The Instructors, Invigilators or the Promotional/Examination Committee, in consultation with Human Resources, will meet with the participant(s) alleged to have committed an act of academic dishonesty or cheating accompanied by?
- Who will accompany the cheater ?
- Does the cheater need to be at the meeting ?
- one (1) unbiased Association Representative
*at this time they will have an opportunity to respond to the allegations*
*the participant DOES NOT have to go to the meeting*

*At the conclusion of the meeting, the Administration Representative(s) will advise the participant(s) that they will?*
