A

Hypersensitivity reaction to the bacteria Aspergillus fumigatus which colonises in the lungs of asthma sufferers and those with cystic fibrosis

A

It presents as asthma complicated by bronchial obstruction, fever, malaise, brownish mucous, blood eosinophilia and haemoptysis.

A
