9 Regions of abdomen are split by 2 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines. what are they?
2 vertical lines are called Midclavicular and the Superior horizontal line = Subcostal and bottom horizontal line = Transtubercular
What sections exist in superior regions?
Right hypochondrium, epigastrium, and left hypochondrium
What exists in the middle regions??
Right lateral (lumbar), Umbilical, Left lateral
what exists in the inferior regions?
Right inguinal, hypogastric (pubic), left inguinal (iliac)

What should be included in KUB?
Pubic symphysis to upper abdo
Up right abdomen is done 2” (inferior/superior) to iliac crest? What is it used to best demonstrates?
Air fluids and visceroptosis
How should the density be for the upright and supine KUB?
Should have no difference
What view best demonstrate the prevertebral space that is occupied by the abdominal aorta?
Lateral abdomen
