What sizes are significant in terms of aneurysms?
Anything where artery is dilated 50% is officially an aneurysm but AAA is when dilation >3cm. AAA >6cm are 25% likely to rupture in a year so surgery is advised on those >5.5cm.
Common sites for AAA
Infrarenal - 85% of AAAs
Pararenal - renal artery involvement
Suprarenal - visceral artery involvement
