lactate > 1 and AKI > 1

A

Red flag sepsis:
IV Meropenem 1g
500 ml 0.9% sodium chloride over 15 minutes (bolus)
high flow oxygen (aim to keep O2 sat above 94)

(check lactate + glucose via VBG / ABG, fluid challenge, urine output, blood cultures)
