Distribution channels
Channels of routes through which a product passes in moving
from the manufacturer (producer) to the consumer.
Multi-channel distribution
This exists when firms use more than one type of distribution
channel.
People
In the context of the 7 Ps, people refers to the staff or representatives of a company who will directly or indirectly come into contact with customers. In doing so, they will influence the quality of service provided to the customer.
Relationship marketing
This is an approach to marketing that focuses on customer loyalty and long-term association rather than short-term sales targets.
Process
The procedures or flow of activities by which a service is delivered to the customer.
Physical environment
Often known as physical evidence, this refers to the tangible features of the service that can enhance customers' experience.
Digital marketing
The anticipating and satisfying of consumer wants through the
use of different forms of technology. Digital marketing includes social media marketing, the use of search engine marketing, digital displays and marketing through other forms of digital media.
E-commerce
The buying and selling of goods and services through the use of electronic media.
