Worth 8 marks so write 2 Peel paragraphs using your OWN KNOWLEDGE. Spend 10-15 mins on this

Question 4

For question 3 (how CONVINCING is INTERPRETATION a?) how do you set it out- how long have you got?

Worth 8 marks so write 2 peel paragraphs. Write a balanced argument (for and against- convincing and not convincing) then add a short summary (overall conclusion). Spend 10-15 mins

What is the PEEL structure?

P: point- make a clear point
E: evidence- use specialist terms,facts, key terms, figures, dates.
E: explain- an explanation
L: link- link back to the words in the question

How do you use evidence?

• interpretation- evidence from the interpretation (a quote or phrase)
• source- evidence from source
• own knowledge- dates, what you’ve revised, key terms…
