No
Slide 3
What are the steps of Venous Sinus Drainage?
- Inion (confluence of sinuses)
- Occipital Sinus
- Condylar Decompression
- Transverse Sinus (fingers at nuncal ridge)
- Straight Sinus (sweet spot)
- Sagittal Sinus (cross thumbs)
- Metopic Suture (spread fingers apart from midline of frontal)
Parietal Lift Treatment
Place 1st-4th fingers contacting inferior boarder of parietal bone, superior to squam suture and cross thumbs
On internal rotation, apply gentle superior traction to attain BMT
-maintain until release felt
Frontal Lift Treatment
With both arms on table
- position thenar eminences on lateral aspects of frontal bone, anterior to coronal suture
- Position hypothenar eminences on lateral angles of frontal bone
- -interlace fingers to create internal rotation of frontal
Apply gentle anterior force to disengage sutures
-hold until traction, release, and reassess
CS location: Posterior surface of mandible
