Target Reporting Unit (TRU) - Sensor platform
OTH-T Concepts
EMCOM
Recognized Maritime Picture (RMP) Development
3rd Party Targeting
Emission Control (EMCON)
Selective and controlled use of the EMS to optimize Command and Control.
Knowing which sensors to turn on and off so the enemy can’t find us
Recognized Maritime Picture (RMP)
Build a common contact picture to reduce uncertainties
3rd Party Targeting
Unit that holds the sensor contact with the target.
Can be a different ship or aircraft that is holding the contact
Advantages of OTH-T
MFU can remain outside of the enemy target sensor range
MFU can remain EMCON silent
Greater range from enemy
Disadvantages of OTH-T
Coordination with the 3rd part unit
3rd party cannot stay EMCON silent
May give positions away
Fast Attack Craft (FAC)
Small, fast, and agile military warships armed with weapons
Fast Inshore Attack Craft (FIAC)

Small Boat
Small craft up to 15mutilized by terrorist organizations
Organic OTH-T Sensors
Sensors on my ship
Sensors onboard ships under the Operational Condicions (OPCON) and TACON of the strike group OTC
Inorganic OTH-T Sensors
Sensors not on my ship, but may be friendly
Sensors not under OPCON or TACON of the strike group commander
