A
The maximum number of individuals that can live sustainably in a given area

Sustainability indicator - relationship between the population and the environment (use of resources by a country’s population)

How do ecological footprints vary?
A
It depends on the country’s density. More people in a smaller area = less resources per capita, and viceversa.
