The role of “de”
defines where an activity takes place:

The role of “mo”
Means “too” or “also” with positive verbs
Means “either” or “neither” with negative verbs
There is usually an understand part of the sentence that can be omitted
He went to the park
He also went to the library
Kare wa koen ni ikimashita
(Kare wa) toshokan ni mo ikimashita
I’m hungry
I’m thirsty
Onaka ga sukimashita (“my stomach has emptied”
Nodo ga kawakimashita (“my throat has dried”
“I want to”
Can only be used with verbs so you can’t say “I want to eat sushi”
Only used to express desire for self, not for other people.
It can be used with we such as “we want to play football”

- takunai desu (negative)
Use ga instead of wo for object marker
