how well you believe in yourself to complete certain tasks or skills

A part of self concept that includes the different groups that you belong to
Social Identity Theory

Oral Stage
Freud (psychosexual) 0-1 yr during feeding years, mouth focus, fixated adults have dependency/ aggression (ex. smokers, thumb sucking, nail biting, over eating)
Anal stage
1-3 yrs during toilet training, fixated adults have issues with messiness and orderliness Freuds psychosexual
Phallic stage
3-6 yrs child has oedipus/ electra complex until he identifies with same sex parent, fixated adults have sexual disfunction
Latent Stage
6-12yrs during development of socialism and comm. skills
Genital Stage
12+ during sexual maturity, if not fixated than adults are mentally healthy
