8 - Code of Conduct Flashcards
You’re asked to give a private reading for a 15 year old. What would you do?
You aren’t permitted to give the reading to a minor (under 18) unless a parent or guardian is present.
What significant change did the consumer protection, from unfair trading act, in 2008, make, compared to the way mediums were treated under the Fraudulent Mediums Act?
Under the fraudulent mediums act the court had to prove the mediums guilt. With the Consumer Protection Act, which came out in 2008, the medium has to show they behaved in an honest manner.
Spiritualism is a threefold religion, what does this mean?
It is a science, a religion and a philosophy.
What is the Consumer Protection Act?
-Law that must be respected when working as a Medium.
- It replaces the Fraudulent Mediums Act which repealed the Witchcraft Act
