737 Electrical Panel Flashcards
Overhead - Electrial Meters
BAT DISCHARGE
- Excessive battery discharge detected with BAT switch ON
- Normal during APU start (using ship’s battery)
Overhead - Elect Meter ELEC
Illuminates if fault exists in the DC or standby power system.
Overhead Bus Switching Panel - GEN OFF BUS
Illuminated means the IDG is not supplying power to it’s related transfer bus.
Aft Overhead - DC FAIL
Illuminated when IRS has lost it’s backup DC power.
If BOTH illuminate the hot battery bus is not powered or the battery is almost dead.
Aft Overhead - ON DC
Illuminated - IRS is not operating on DC power from the hot bat bus.
Will illuminate during aligment for 5 sec.
OVERHEAD Bus Switch Panel SOURCE OFF
No electrical source has been manually selected.
Electrical Meters TR Unit
Illuminates on ground if any TR has failed
Illuminates in flight if TR1, or TR2 AND TR3 have failed.
Overhead - STBY PWR Panel - STANDBY
Indicates these buses being unpowered:
DC standby bus
AC standby bus
Battery bus
Transfer Bus Off
Transfer Bus is not powered
How does the EEC get its own power?
Trips on at 15% N2 spool
What are the 3 different idles of the EEC?
GND
FLIGHT
APCH
How are the ignitors powered?
Left: Respective Transferbus
Right: AC Standby bus
