What is Buddhism?
It originated in India. It’s central theories are that human life is full of suffering due to worldly desires, illnesses, death and loss of loved ones. By getting rid of desires and attachments, one can achieve the state of enlightenment and escape suffering and the circle of reincarnation.
Whose traditions do the brides in a China wedding follow?
The couple is usually married at the groom’s house. They pay their respects to the groom’s ancestors by burning incense at the family altar.
