A
Loss of joint space
Osteophytes

What is the pathogenesis of OA?
A
Normal cartilage is damaged by physical factors
Cartilage begins to break down become thinner and cracking
Gaps expand until they reach the bone itself
Synovial fluid leaks into the gaps causing damage and cysts
