V4: الْبَيَانَ

Answer 1

eloquence

Question 2

V5: بِحُسْبَانٍ

Answer 2

[move] by precise calculation,

Question 3

V7: وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ

Answer 3

and imposed the balance

Question 4

V8: أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ

Answer 4

That you do not transgress within the balance.

Question 5

V9: ..وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ

Answer 5

and do not make deficient the balance.

Question 6

V9: وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ

Answer 6

And establish weight in justice

Question 7

V10: وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ ‎

Answer 7

He laid [out] for the creatures.

Question 8

V11: ..وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ

Answer 8

And palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

Question 9

V12: وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ

Answer 9

And grain having husks and scented plants.

Question 10

V14: مِن صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ ‎

Answer 10

He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.

Question 11

V15: …مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ

Answer 11

And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

Question 12

V17: رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ

Answer 12

[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.

Question 13

V18: رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

Answer 13

of your Lord would you deny?

Question 14

V19: مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ
V19 يَلْتَقِيَانِ

Answer 14

He released the two seas
Meeting [one another];

Question 15

V20: بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ

Answer 15

is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

Question 16

V22: يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا

Answer 16

Out of both ˹waters˺ come forth

Question 17

V22: اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ ‎

Answer 17

pearls and coral.

Question 18

V24: وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَآتُ

Answer 18

To Him belong the ships with raised sails/And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated

Question 19

V24: فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ ‎

Answer 19

sailing through the seas like mountains/elevated in the sea like mountains.

Question 20

V26: كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

Answer 20

Every being on earth is bound to perish.
