Caused by suburbanisation the building on satellite towns as people move away many buildings are left derelict and there is also a decrease in local services as there wasn’t enough money or people to keep it going

It is when shops and businesses move out of the CBD and inner city as they struggle to pay high rents and move to high tech business parks or less central locations

E-commerce is online shopping and has put pressure on high street shops to keep up some have been forced to close down and some move further out where there is more demand

Places have been gentrified meaning areas that were previously been run down have renewed other areas have been studentification meaning many students have moved to that area causing thriving services
