ARTERIES carry blood away from the heart
VEINS carry blood into the heart
CAPILLARIES join arteries to veins.

a thick wall and a small lumen

what do veins have?
A
a thin wall and larger lumen. they also have valves along their length to stop blood flowing backwards because the blood in the veins is not coming from the heart, so it is not under any pressure.
