Intensive Agricultural Practices
farmers use large amounts of inputs (energy, fertilizers, labor, machines) to maximize yields
Extensive Agricultural Practices
use fewer amount of inputs and typically result in less yields.
Core Periphery
States that have the most advanced industrial and military technologies, complex manufacturing systems, external political power, and the highest levels of wealth and mass consumption
Semiperiphery
Countries or regions whose economics have elements of both the core and the periphery
