A

Causes:

  • usually secondary to predisposing factors
  • Abnorm Micturition or urine properties( USG, Glucose) anatomical and mucosal defects
  • bacteria( e coli, staphylococcus, proteus klebsiella) fungal and viruses

Uti Clinical signs?

A
  • Bladder(cystitis)
  • Pollakuria, dysuria, haematuria, stranguria, incontinence
  • not systemically affected
  • Kidneys(pyelonephritis)
  • Fever, lumbar painm anorexia, vomiting PU/PD
  • ill
  • Prostate
  • urethral discharge, dysuria & dyschezia, painful & enlarge prostate on rectal palpation
