A

meaning, beyond the segment (eg phoneme) which can be syllable and intonation. stres, lenght, pitch of an utterance

define spoonerism

A

an error in speech in whic corresponding consonants vowels or morphemes are switched. stressed syllables are targeted. phonemes from the same place in the syllable are targeted.

what is the nucleous of a syllable, what is coda and what is onset?

A

is always the vowel of the syllable. every syllable hence need a vowel. onset stands before the nucleous and coda stands after the nucleous. nucleous and coda= rhyme
