Why is it important to hire the right people?

A

Staff retention will be higher. This means that you won’t need to spend money on recruiting someone else. Also an new employee will start of being less productive because they are getting used to there job

Motivation will be higher which leads to more productive employees and therefore a lower unit cost which might lead to more profit

Products may have a higher quality/better customer service. This effects the brand image and may lead to positive word of mount advertising

Employees motivation may increase because they have time to fit in other activity’s such as looking after parents and they have more free time
